Saskia Berkin is a figurative oil painter working between London and her native town Beverley, East Yorkshire.
​Having completed a degree in Biochemistry before training as a painter, her practice is informed by an interest in visual perception and how the brain interprets visual information. Her paintings investigate the relationship between observation and interpretation.
