Per Kirkeby Show
I was extremely lucky to make a trip to Aalborg in Denmark to see the Per Kirkeby exhibition at the Kunsten museum of modern art. He is one of my favourite abstract painters who originally trained as a geologist. I love the intentional marks throughout the expressionist paintings eluding to the organic forms found in nature. Tabletop Tales
Despite the horrible weather, I was so happy with the turnout for the private view of my solo show, Tabletop Tales . It turned into a wonderful evening filled with interesting conversations, drinks flowing, and smiles all around. The exhibition brings together a selection of still life paintings I’ve been working on over the past few months, and it was such a pleasure to finally share them and see people engaging with the work.

Second Prize
Last November I was honoured and thrilled to receive second prize at the Beverley Annual Open Exhibition. A big thank you to the guest selectors and to the Friends of Beverley Art Group for organising such a wonderful event. I really enjoyed the presentation evening and the opportunity to meet and get to know other local artists—it made the experience even more special.

Painting the figure outside

There are a lot of added complexities such as the weather and the ever changing light but the rewards are worth it! I was lucky to be painting with such a convivial group which I am sure wil

My favourite clothes shop!
I had a wonderful experience being the resident artist at Jigsaw boutique clothes shop in Beverley. I loved being able to dress the shop with my paintings, placing them next to the beautiful colours of the clothes on the hanging rails. Here is me posing in a new outfit (lucky me!) with Tor presented in the window.
