Illustrated Talk

I was delighted to be invited to give an illustrated talk about my artwork and creative practice. Using a selection of finished works alongside a number of exercises and studies, I explored my working process, key artistic influences, and some of the ideas that underpin my paintings. In particular, I discussed how visual perception when painting from observation informs many aspects of my work, shaping both the way I see and interpret the subject. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and I hope those who attended found the talk both interesting and useful, offering some insight into the thinking and methods behind my paintings.
